The Morocco national football team have officially announced their squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Ecuador national football team and Paraguay national football team, as preparations intensify ahead of future competitive assignments.

Head coach Ouahbi has named a strong and balanced squad blending experienced internationals with emerging talents, signaling both continuity and long-term planning within the Atlas Lions setup.

Leading the squad is first-choice goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, who is joined by El Mehdi Benabid and El Mehdi Al Harrar as goalkeeping options. The defensive unit features key figures such as Achraf Hakimi, Noussair Mazraoui, and Romain Saïss, alongside rising names like Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal and Chadi Riad.

In midfield, Morocco will rely on the creativity and control of Azzedine Ounahi and Bilal El Khannouss, supported by the versatility of players such as Ismael Saibari, Neil El Aynaoui, and Oussama Targhalline.

The attacking line sees the inclusion of experienced forwards like Youssef En-Nesyri and Hakim Ziyech, alongside in-form talents such as Ayoub El Kaabi, Soufiane Rahimi, and Abdessamad Ezzalzouli.

The two friendlies are expected to provide valuable testing ground for Ouahbi’s tactical adjustments, squad depth, and player chemistry. Facing South American opposition in Ecuador and Paraguay offers a different competitive dynamic, with both teams known for their physicality and intensity.

With Morocco continuing to build on their impressive recent performances on the international stage, these matches will serve as an important benchmark as the Atlas Lions fine-tune their squad ahead of upcoming continental and global competitions.
