Mourinho filmed doing promo work for Russian ice hockey team

Jose Mourinho has plenty of time on his hands now after he was sacked by Manchester United before Christmas.

And after a stint fulfilling punditry work in Qatar last month, Mourinho has now seemingly turned his hand to another sport entirely in Russia.

He has been doing promotional work for a Russian ice hockey team in Balashikha, a town near Moscow.

The team, Avangard Omsk, hail from Siberia, but have to play their matches outside of their home because the arena has deemed structurally unsafe, according to AP sports reporter, James Ellingworth.

In the video on Twitter Mourinho appears to be signing pictures of himself.

This is just the latest project that Mourinho has been engaged in since his two-and-a-half year reign at Old Trafford came to an end in December.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has since led United's charge up the table and into the race for the top four.

Last month Mourinho made a string of appearances alongside Richard Keys and Andy Gray in the beIN SPORTS studio.

This latest appearance comes after he was spotted making a rare public outing in London over the weekend.

He was toasting the 19th birthday of his son, Jose Jr, at posh Italian restaurant Harry's Dolce Vita in Knightsbridge, west London.

While appearing on TV last month, the 56-year-old suggested March would be the time he steps up a return to being a No 1 but for now he appears content enjoying some time away from the spotlight.
