Jose Mourinho went on a hilarious tirade against the referee that sent him off during Fenerbahce's draw with Manchester United.
Mourinho was shown a red by referee Clement Turpin after the hosts saw a penalty appeal turned down.
The Fenerbahce manager led the Turkish club's protests against the decision with the score level at 1-1 on the night.
Asked about the incident after the match, the 61-year-old told TNT Sports: 'I don't want to speak about it.
'He told me something incredible. He told me at the same time he could see the action in the box and my behaviour on the touchline.
'I congratulate him because he's absolutely incredible. His peripheral vision during the game, 100mph he had one eye on the penalty situation and one eye on the bench and on my behaviour.
'That's the explanation he's given me. That's why he's one of the best referees in the world.'
Asked if he's had the chance to watch back the incident and if he still thought it was a penalty, Mourinho responded: 'I watched the incident. I don't speak about the incident'.
Reacting to the interview, former United midfielder Paul Scholes said: 'That was better than the game.
'He's got his mischief back about him. It was good to see that version of Jose than the one we saw at Man United a few years ago which wasn't great.'
Several Fenerbahce substitutes had joined Mourinho in demanding a penalty.
The Turkish side had reacted with anger after seeing their appeals waved away by Turpin after Bright Osayi-Samuel went down under a challenge by Manuel Ugarte.
Mourinho was first pictured sat in the stands, but later moved to steps where he could be seen writing to send messages to the touchline via one of his coaching staff.
United had taken the lead in the first half through Christian Eriksen, following a lay off by Joshua Zirkzee.
Fenerbahce drew level in the second half through Youssef En-Nesyri, as the forward headed in a cross from Allan Saint-Maximin.

He was denied a clear penalty and given a red for protesting about it... Honestly, what is the use of VAR again? I love this savage part of Mourihno though!

I think it could have been better for Man U to exchange Europa with conference league, probably they could at least move out of the group stage ππππ

Asking Pogba for his opinion is another sign of hate for Mourinho! Football is full of mentally ill people who have never been diagnosed! Toxic cockroaches!

Clement Turpin has over the years become a poor referee ! You can always expect a dreadful decision when he referees - in this case his VAR is also to blame ! Denying the penalty & giving a straight red to Mourinho just shows his low standard - UEFA / FIFA should remove him !

Dear Man Utd, not every team you play against is Barnsley
