Barça members surveyed in the poll conducted by Estudi Press for MD believe that Lamine Yamal, the sensation of the season, is the main contender to win the Ballon d'Or, following Barcelona's victories in the Super Cup, Copa del Rey, and LaLiga. 

Along with these three successes, the media impact propels the Catalan footballer to the top of the predictions.

The only blemish on Lamine's record is his discreet performance in the Nations League final, after an excellent semifinal. The elimination in the Champions League 'semis' will not be too damaging, as his performance, despite Barça's knockout – which was not without refereeing controversy – was superb.

The father of footballer Lamine Yamal, Mounir Nasraoui, has appeared before the media to defend his son after the criticism he has received in recent days for the massive party he organized to celebrate his coming of age, which included dwarf artists and glamour models.
