According to Mundo Deportivo, the arrival of Jesus does not mean that Barcelona will abandon their pursuit of Alvarez in the future.
The report states that Jesus is expected to arrive in Barcelona next Monday for his medical examination, a prerequisite for completing his transfer. Even if this deal goes through, Blaugrana will not abandon the idea of signing Alvarez in the future.
