Morocco national team legend Mustapha Hadji believes that Hakimi and Bounou are the greatest players in Morocco's football history, far ahead of other legendary players.
Hadji stated in an interview with Kooora that despite many talents emerging in Morocco's football history, Hakimi and Bounou are far ahead in his mind.
Hadji said: "Yes, Hakimi is the best player in Morocco's football history, and he is far ahead of any other player. He has left everyone else far behind."
He then added: "Hakimi is a role model on the field for young Moroccan players. In my opinion, he is first, Yassine is second, and the others are far behind."
When asked about his own ranking among Morocco's football legends, Hadji smiled and replied: "No, I am far from that."
