Myles Lewis-Skelly breaks TWO records in Arsenal's Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain

Myles Lewis-Skelly has made a habit of breaking records since he burst onto the scene for Arsenal this season.

The left-back was sitting on the Gunners' bench as a relatively unknown as recently as December.

But since making his first Premier League start that month, Lewis-Skelly has established himself as a vital cog in Mikel Artera's side.

His form caught the eye of England manager Thomas Tuchel who called him up to the Three Lions squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Latvia and Albania last month.

And after being handed his debut against Albania, Lewis Skelly needed just 20 minutes to repay Tuchel's faith by scoring the first goal of the new era in a 2-0 victory.

That made Lewis Skelly the youngest player in history to score on his senior England debut at 18 years and 176 days — surpassing Marcus Rashford who scored against Australia in May 2016 aged 18 years and 209 days.

And when the teenager was selected in Arteta's side to take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-final first leg at the Emirates, it saw him break two more records.

Lewis Skelly became both the youngest Englishman and the youngest Premier League player to appear in a Champions League last-four clash.

The mantle of youngest ever player to win the European Cup — of any nationality from any league — is sadly even beyond the precocious Arsenal star. That record belongs to Antonio Simoes who won it with Benfica in 1962 aged 18 Years and 139 Days.

There is a chance, however, that the record could still go to an Arsenal player should they lift the title in Munich on May 31. The Gunners' flying winger Ethan Nwaneri will be 18 years and 71 days old on the day of the final.
