Man Utd face an injury crisis ahead of their Premier League fixture vs Liverpool after Jose Mourinho confirmed two more injuries in Valencia.
Manchester United could be without nine players for their vital Premier League clash with Liverpool on Sunday.
Seven injured players remained in Manchester as United played their final Champions League group game in Valencia, where Marcos Rojo was forced off with another ailment at half-time. Mourinho also had to omit Scott McTominay from the matchday squad after the midfielder suffered an injury in training.
Victor Lindelof (thigh) and Alexis Sanchez (hamstring) are definitely out of the Liverpool trip and five others are doubts. Luke Shaw aggravated an injury in the warm-up against Fulham on Saturday and Chris Smalling was forced off, while Matteo Darmian and Anthony Martial also sat out the 4-1 victory.
Diogo Dalot, named man of the match against Fulham, has succumbed to an unspecified injury and did not participate in the open training session ahead of the Valencia game on Tuesday.
"Marcos Rojo no because he's injured," Mourinho said when asked if any of the starters in Valencia could retain their place against Liverpool. "The rest are not injured, they belong to the squad, we have lots of players that were not here today because they are injured, this is our squad, our players, they have a chance to play Sunday.
"Smalling is injured, Lindelof is injured, Darmian is injured, Martial is injured, Dalot is injured, the only two players I could bring and didn't was De Gea and Matic.
"Apart from that nobody, nobody. And last week, we had three matches, the majority of the players are the players that are playing all the time and I had no other options, includes a player like Marcos Rojo that I expect to play today and give a rest to Ashley Young as an example but at half-time he is injured and he is out.

Even their full squad at max strength are losing to Liverpool at Anfield. United aren't anywhere near Napoli level right now, how can they hope to beat Pool. Its a 1 sided mauling. If Liverpool don't score 3 goals at least in the form they're in, they aren't title contenders.
