Arsenal have progressed to the Europa League semi-finals after beating Napoli 1-0 on Thursday night, 3-0 on aggregate.
Match Reports
Alexandre Lacazette fired Arsenal to an accomplished 1-0 win at Napoli as Unai Emery's men cruised into the Europa League semi-finals 3-0 on aggregate.
The Premier League side began confidently in defence of their first-leg advantage and did not allow a couple of close defensive shaves and a hamstring injury to Aaron Ramsey to throw them off course.
Lacazette's wonderful 36th-minute free-kick proved the difference on the night, leaving Carlo Ancelotti's hosts with a mountain to climb.
Arkadiusz Milik's wayward finishing did little to help their cause and Emery can look forward to a semi-final showdown with his former club Valencia.
Match Events
24' OFFSIDE! Milik scores but goal is disallowed
NO GOAL! Insigne plays a clever ball to Milik on the left and he dinks over the onrushing Cech, but the flag is correctly up for offside and the goal won't stand

Ramsey has gone down holding his left hamstring after competing with Zielinski for the ball. The midfielder limps off and the change is made. Mkhitaryan replaces him and will operate behind the two strikers.
36' GOAL! Napoli 0-1 Arsenal (Lacazette)
GOAL!! ARSENAL OPEN THE SCORING! Lacazette lines up a free-kick in a central position and whips it to the goalkeeper's side sweetly. Meret goes the wrong way and it nestles in the corner! Arsenal are 1-0 up on the night and 3-0 up on aggregate! Napoli need four without reply now.
Alexandre Lacazette puts the ball in the net and the away team now lead 0-1.
56' OFFSIDE! Mertens scores but goal is disallowed
NO GOAL! The ball is pinged to Koulibaly by Zielinski and the centre-back heads across goal for Mertens to nod into an empty net, but the flag is up for offside against the Senegalese defender.

Kosciely and Sokratis were outstanding tonight, not to mention Laca with that gorgeous free kick to ease any pressure. As a die hearted arsenal fan, I must say I am disappointed in the challenge we got from Napoli - it wasn’t really a challenge to be honest. Anyways we looking on the brightest of sides and we are happy for the win and we moving on. 🥳🥳 Who’s next?🙅🏽♂️

It's so sad seeing some ignorant and toxic arsenal fans here being provoking and disrespectful towards Napoli, what did they do to you?you are all just some brainless idiots that come from countries with no football background and you act to be gurus of football, get back to cricket. Farmers is the job that you probably do, serie a and ligue 1 at least make millions every year of profit something that you'd never do. Just coz they get eliminated you shouldn't come and disrespect a league, let them be whatever they want ffs you brainless toxic people and if a team wins the league continuesly what should happen, stop football from that country coz some stupid people like you said it, your opinion doesn't serve at anything and neither does a shit so stfu, serie a is a wonderful league with passion, large scores, unexpected wins, just previous week spal won for the first time vs juve after like 50 years. Shut your mouth and enjoy football that it's the same god damn sport in Italy, France and England, if not then stop watching it you plastic fan and watch something else.

Italian clubs are disappointment, disgrace, and poor due to financial side, I hope we can get at least half of the TV right epl got... seriously even madrid wouldn't have won 3 consecutive cpl trophies plus unlike epl with all those cash they have were it be serie a would have brought at least 3 cpl trophies, that's y I say and will always say epl is not the best league in the world rather it is one of the most competitive... but the best league is Spanish league followed by serie a then epl, also in terms of entertainment it can only be 2nd at best which I still do not agree, the only thing epl is at the top is fame

I used to enjoy the Italian league more than any other league in Europe when AC Milan was rulling Europe with that magnificent Netherlands striker Marco van Barsten(hope i got the Dutch name correct). Unfortunately from those old glory days the league has made minimal progress, time seems to stand still. From the match fixing scandals to Berlusconi selling AC Milan, Juventus having a firm grip on the league and Inter Milan and Napoli not making much progress than before, the picture is frustrating. The effects of such negative developments sadly have spilled over to the Azzurri, someone please serve this magnificent league from total collapse. 🙏🙏🙏
