Napoli managed to limit Lionel Messi's output at the Stadio San Paolo on Tuesday in the Champions League as they held Barcelona to a 1-1 draw.
Messi looked to find space but his work was complicated by Napoli coach Gattuso, who had a number of players surrounding him every time he got on the ball in the final third.
However, he still managed to generate some chances. One of them saw him break through three players and give the ball to Arturo Vidal, who tried to return it. As Messi slid in to try and score, he clashed with goalkeeper David Ospina.
The referee deemed it a foul and gave Messi a yellow card, with the Argentine apologising to the former Arsenal stopper immediately.
"It wasn't intentional," Ospina said. "He's a gentleman and a great player. I am fortunate to play against him here and with the Colombian national team."

Messi never hurts anyone intentionally. But he hurts teams by scoring against them. He is a true Gentleman.

I really didn't see that incident as I was somehow busy with the ChelSEA sinking of Bayern Munich. But whatever went wrong am pretty sure Messi didn't mean to hurt anyone in that match because he always never does.....
