According to a report by Fabrice Hawkins, SSC Napoli will no longer demand the €130 million release clause for Victor Osimhen (25) with the club keen to sell the striker before the fast approaching end of the transfer window.

Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea are reported to be aware of the new situation. However, it is thought that PSG have not yet taken action on their former target. Hawkins writes that PSG remains Osimhen’s preferred destination with the striker thought to be less keen on moving to the London club.
Osimhen is also said to be negotiating with Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli. However, there is no agreement between the two on salary. However, his agent appears to have dampened those reports with his statement on X (formerly Twitter) suggesting that Osimhen “still has much to do in Europe.”
With the transfer window shutting in Europe on the 30th of August there is a lot of work to do before Osimhen can find a new club.
