Keylor Navas says Paris Saint-Germain's squad are keen to embrace Mauricio Pochettino's ideas after they moved top of Ligue 1.
Saturday night's 1-0 win at Angers took PSG two points clear but Lyon have the opportunity to respond when they host Metz on Sunday.
It was a third win in four matches for PSG under Pochettino though the former Tottenham boss stayed away after testing positive for Covid-19.
Goalkeeper Navas told on Canal+: 'We are trying to adapt to the ideas of the coach. We are very motivated.
'We try to have a good block and be good in transitions. We are managing to apply his ideas. Everything is fine and we have to keep working.'
PSG were far from their fluent best but Layvin Kurzawa's volley earned them three important points 20 minutes from time.
'Winning is the most important thing tonight because we knew how to suffer when it was necessary to do so,' Navas added.
'The team had the patience to gain the three points and this part of our game makes us stronger. They had good counter-attacks and my team-mates made an effort to be solid defensively.'
Pochettino's self-isolation means he will also be absent when PSG host Montpellier on Friday night as their fixture continue to come thick and fast.
The Argentine coach has already collected his first piece of silverware as manager after PSG's 2-1 win over Marseille in the Trophee des Champions final last Wednesday.

The biggest motivation was when Pochettino said:- imagine when I can lift a trophy then sky is the limit for you guys.
