In the 8th round of the English Premier League, Liverpool lost to Manchester United 1-2. After the match, former Manchester United star Gary Neville commented on the Liverpool players in the podcast programme.
Speaking about Salah's form, Neville said, "People have questioned his form, whether it's because of his age or because he's played for too many seasons."
"Usually when a player is approaching the end of his career, you notice a decline in his fitness. But strangely I didn't see a decline in his fitness, some of his sprinting acceleration still looked sharp and his runs in the box were still positive. But situations like the ball getting to the far post, his shooting and passing skills, they look far worse now."
Neville continued, "There were a couple of moments at the back of the box today where you thought, 'That's not the Salah we know.' At one point he took the ball near the left-hand post and the movement looked extremely awkward, and that's the problem with his technique."
In addition, Neville also commented on Liverpool's defensive performance. He said, "I thought the Liverpool defenders were really poor individually and the decision-making wasn't there. Left back Kerkez has not adapted at all to the team system and the tempo of the game, he plays like a 10 year old left back and runs around."
He went on to add: "Bradley at right-back was OK today and I don't think he made any big mistakes, but Van Dijk ...... I've never seen Van Dijk so inconsistent. Sometimes when a player comes back from an international day he tends to hold things together but he played one of his worst games today."

That’s what’ll happen when the club pay too much for some players (van dijk & salah) & bought some players with big spending (isak & wirtz).. the others will do whatever they want becoz they know they are not important to the Liverpool club
