New Inter signing Kwadwo Asamoah: I already feel like one of the family

Inter newcomer Kwadwo Asamoah gave an interview to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport speaking about a wide variety of issues starting with how he has integrated at Inter.

Asamoah stated that: “I am with Inter and I am fine, everyone is working in the best way. Right now there is a bit of tiredness due to all the training that is very hard. But there is a desire in the group to do well and a positive attitude.”

How did your introduction work?

“I would say great. Now I have been here for a few days and I fell like I have been with Inter for a year. I am already part of the team and everyone immediately made me feel like I am part of the family.”

Can Inter upset Juventus in the Scudetto race?

“Everybody starts the championship with the same amount of points. The team is convinced to do our job well and that we have all the means to steal their satisfaction.”

Have you heard anything from your former teammates after joining Inter?

“No, I have not heard from anyone since arriving here.”

Do you regret missing out on the opportunity to play with Cristiano Ronaldo?

“I did not expect him to go to Juventus, but for Serie A it is positive that such a champion comes to Italy”.

Are you ready to challenge him?

“I have already played him when we played Real Madrid in the Champions League and I am getting ready to give my best against him and the rest of the players in the Serie A.”

What impressions of Luciano Spalletti do you have?

“With him I felt good from the first day and I immediately understood what is expected of me. That made everything much more simple and I like the way he plays football”.
