Keita Baldé Diao says Inter “don’t fear” Juventus, and that he and Stefan de Vrij want to “write our story”.
The forward joined the Nerazzurri from Monaco this summer, and he spoke to Sky after his official presentation.
“I’ve found a great climate here, very good to work in,” Keita said.
“A lot of things happen in football and destiny brought me here this year. [Coach Luciano] Spalletti has told me to stay calm, work hard and give everything for the team.
“I was happy in Ligue 1, everything was fine, but when I had the chance to come here I couldn’t say no.
“De Vrij and I returning to Lazio? We want to write our story with Inter, like other great players who came from Rome. We hope it goes well.”
Keita also discussed the Scudetto, starting with Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival at Juventus.
“The Italian league has always been tough, with great players. This year that’s even more the case, it’s good for everyone.
“We don’t fear them [Juve], we don’t need to fear anyone. We work for ourselves.”
