Álvaro Odriozola has been part of the Bayern family since Wednesday : the Spanish Under-21 receives number 2 at the Germany giants.
Odriozola was born on December 14, 1995 in the coastal town of San Sebastián in northern Spain.
At the age of ten, the right-back switched to the youth division of the local club Real Sociedad, where he then went through all the youth teams and was able to be recommended to the second team for the professionals.
In early 2017, the defensive player made his debut in the La Liga at Real Sociedad's 2-0 away win against Málaga shortly after his 21st birthday.
From San Sebastian to Real Madrid
As a result, he developed into an absolute regular player with the Basques and thus came into the focus of Real Madrid.
In summer 2018, the now 24-year-old switched to the royal team, with whom he won the FIFA Club World Cup 2018 and the Spanish Supercup earlier this year.
Odriozola has a total of 68 appearances in La Liga as well as four Champions League games for Real Madrid and six Europa League games for San Sebastián internationally.

Four times Spanish international
Odriozola made his debut for the Spanish national team on October 6, 2017. In total, he ran four times for his home country and has so far scored one goal. Good to know: At his debut, a 3-0 win over Albania, Thiago met on the presentation of the Bayern newcomer. Previously, Odriozola was the 2017 European Vice-Champion with the Spanish Under-21 national team. However , he was not used in the 0-1 defeat in the final against Germany, in which Serge Gnabry participated on the other side .

Alvaro... in my mind is so excited to join a family club like Bayern. teams like Madrid and Barcelona are overwhelmingly and overcrowded with talent that they don't even know how to manage so many individuals. it is why some loose their touch and some stick to their Faith and hopefully something better happens to them. in this case ; Alvaro will give his potential and more than what he felt at Madrid bench. his agent definitely knew the gaps that needed to be filled at Bayern. can't wait to see him play and be full of adrenaline and passion when he hears them Germans cheer and chant for "The Black Beast of Europe " welcome Spaniard brother... I'm sure you'll get the drift Bayern Munich is all about instantly. " do your best and the rest will fall into its place"
