Second-half goals from Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford saw Ole Gunnar Solskjaer match a Manchester United record set by Matt Busby.
Match Report
Romelu Lukaku made a swift impact from the bench for a second consecutive match as Manchester United beat Newcastle United 2-0 at St James' Park.
The Belgium international was on the pitch for two minutes before rounding out Sunday's 4-1 win over Bournemouth and had only been on for 38 seconds when Martin Dubravka spilled Marcus Rashford's free-kick in his direction.
Rashford continued a purple patch in front of goal 10 minutes from time, meaning a fourth win in as many outings at the start of his reign for caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – a feat only previously achieved by club great Matt Busby.

14' CHANCE! Martial's shot wide out
Martial looks to cut inside from the left and take on Yedlin, but he stops his run on the corner of the penalty area and curls a pass into the area which is cleared by a defender for a corner.
24' CHANCE! Rashford's shot saved
An early pass is hit up field from Lindelof and it somehow bounces in-between Lascelles and Schar who both misjudged the bounce. Dubravka does well coming off his line quickly, and by the time Rashford is able to have a strike inside the penalty area, the goalkeeper is at his foot to make the parry.
64'GOAL! Newcastle 0-1 Man Utd (Lukaku)
38 seconds is all it took for the substitute to get on the score sheet as Rashford’s powerful free-kick is spilt by Dubravka, right in the path of Lukaku who turns it home from inside the six-yard box with ease!
80'GOAL! Newcastle 0-2 Man Utd (Rashford)
Rashford plays it to Lukaku on the halfway line and continues forward, taking up a good position at the bottom of the penalty area. In the meantime, Lukaku finds Sanchez with a pass, and the winger looks up and finds his England team-mate open in the box.

I have always said it, Man U have good players that can at least finish in top 4 but they weren't happy with Mourinho that's why none of them were performing. Now they give everything for the 3 points and honestly they have been playing well. With this confidence they have a good chance in Champions league against PSG.

Yes we won four matches on a bounce with 14 goals scored and 3 conceded but we still need some adjustments in our defence. we need a top CB and and a right wing then lukaku need to adjust his first touch to help play the hold up while we are under opponent threat so that his teamate couod follow up and properly work out the counter attacking play. rashford need to be more calm in front of goals and luck Shaw more be more serious in the third face of the attacking play, Herrera need a to play more forward than playing nost of his passes to right and left to full backs. well baby face assassin has done great job so far and all man united fans keeps loving him like me too... Go go go GREATER MANCHESTER UNITED
