According to Italian media reports, the Japanese national football player Ko Itakura of Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach is about to move to champions SSC Napoli.
Napoli hope to reach an agreement with the five-time German champions on a transfer fee of twelve million euros for the 26-year-old central defender, Gazzetta dello Sport reported and offer €12m. Borussia are reportedly demanding 15 million euros for the defensive specialist.
Itakura is considered by the Italian defending champions as a replacement for defensive boss Jae-Min Kim, who will probably move to the German record champion Bayern Munich.
