Neymar and Kylian Mbappe were omitted from France Football's Ideal XI in Ligue 1 for the first half of the season.
The PSG stars, alongside Memphis Depay, were the headline names omitted from the team chosen by the editors of the publication.
Four of their teammates - Marquinhos, Keylor Navas, Angel di Maria and Rafinha - were included in the line-up.
A notable inclusion in the team was Hatem Ben Arfa, the Bordeaux winger, who has been reborn following his summer switch from Real Valladolid.
Ben Arfa has managed four assists, two goals and shares the joint-highest average rating (6.18) with Lyon attacking midfielder Lucas Paqueta.
In addition to the PSG quartet and Ben Arfa, the rest of those to have made the cut are Mathieu Debuchy (Saint-Etienne), Nayef Aguerd (Rennes), Romain Perraud (Brest), Lucas Paqueta (Lyon), Tino Kadewere (Lyon) and Burak Yilmaz (Lille).

Mbappe is the future together with some other talents Haaland, Sancho, Chiesa, Ansu Fati and more. He's learned from Neymar alot and no matter what, they will always remain the best players in Ligue 1....

Not all Ligue 1 players can dribble like Neymar. Not all can score like Neymar. Not all can win trophies with high contribution for their club like Neymar. So even if they ain't among 1st half of season best, it doesn't matter because none in Ligue 1 can ever reach Neymar level......
