Neymar could be available for just £145million from 2020 thanks to a secret clause in his contract.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the most expensive footballer of all-time could be allowed to leave from June next year after three full seasons in Paris, as a contract release clause becomes active.
Paris Saint-Germain smashed the world transfer record to bring the highly regarded Brazilian to the French capital back in 2017.
He has repeatedly been linked with a move to Real Madrid amid frequent reports of his unhappiness at the club, but his huge transfer outlay - £198million - has appeared to act as a deterrent to any concrete bids.
But should the secret clause exist in the 27-year-old's contract, it could well make him more marketable and would thus reignite speculation linking him with a move away from the club.
Neymar's time in Paris has been marked by early Champions League exits and two long-term injuries to his foot, the second of which keeping him out of PSG's shock European defeat by Manchester United.

Just a few years ago neymar was en route to becoming the heir to rhe throne of being the best of the best. he was in the best club in the world, with the best team mates,playing in an amazing trio alomg with Messi as his teacher, and now look at him. I mean they hyped him up,fooled him and made him big headed(and im not understating neymars talent..but how long is that going to be the problem??) they made him THE MOST EXPENSIVE SIGNING and now look at him..no better than what he was with barca infact people expected barca to suffer without him..but unfortunately for him he received the suffering.the world took him out of barca his safe space so that they can swallow him whole, chew him and then spit him out. i wish him the best though. throughout all the trials and tribulations neymar is going through..i know hes human. to many people criticizing and laughing but they dont know that you have a son puttijg food on the table. providing for the family I.wish you well Ney..come home.

With the level of the legal staff on both sides for drafting, reviewing and discussing such a contract, I doubt there could be a secret clause. And if there were to be such a secret clause, I wonder how the writer got wind of it.
