Brazilian sensation Neymar is desperate for a return to Barcelona - with his staff making 'constant calls' to his former club.
The 26-year-old megastar left Spain to link up with the French champions Paris Saint-Germain in summer 2017 in a world-record €220million move.
But any deal to return will be extremely complicated due to the way he left the Nou Camp.
Now AS say the frontman's team are 'constantly calling' Barcelona to try and engineer a return.
AS quote club sources as saying: "When he comes to Barcelona, which is usually, he always ends up visiting the dressing room.
"It's a shame, because here he had everything, but ended up forcing his departure and we should see how the environment would react, which did not end at all satisfied with everything that happened."
Any move back could take a while - with Barcelona quite happy to wait it out until the return is on their terms.
Last month came the news that Barca can pick up Neymar for €215million at the end of next season
It emerged that 26-year-old is said to have an agreement with PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi that he can leave the club at end of next season - for around the same price he joined.
Clubs and the player representatives stayed silent on the clause, but respected Spanish outlet SPORT confirmed one is written into the Brazilian's contract. It confirms when he can leave and for how much.
However the striker can only activate the release clause in 2020 if a club can stump up €160m.
If Neymar wants to leave before then a buying club would have to negotiate and arrange a deal on 'friendly terms' with PSG, for a higher fee.
This revelation is fuelling the fire that he's set for a shock switch back to the Nou Camp to line up with old pal Lionel Messi.
Real Madrid are desperate to land him, but Neymar only has eyes for Barcelona.
However Barcelona are ready to play it cool for Neymar.

The return of Neymar will be the departure of Dembele or when Suarez is finished, Dembele had already fill Neymar gap and if giving more chances, he's going to be more better then Neymar or else let Neymar wait for 2020 when Suarez is finished.

If Neymar comes back to Barcelona, it'll be the end of the road for Malcom, Dembele & maybe Coutinho because Valverde considers him a liability in Midfield. I like Ney, infact I love him, but the way his departure affected us, I cannot forget the humiliation of Super Copa De Espana in the hands of Madrid, as a Barca supporter I never felt helpless before, & it took a while for us to recover, & now when we are back to our feet, I don't wanna turn back the pages.

Putting into perspective, Barca may welcome him back at much reduced payment..PSG will have accept whatever amount Barca pays. The ball is in Barca's court. Otherwise PSG may want to offload Neymar to Real Madrid, Juventus or Man United. These clubs may have financial power to handle this juggernaut!!

It will take more than 150 million to bring Neymar back. Although he is a great player but considering how he left doest inspire me to see him back. Morever Coutinho is a great player. We dont want to lose him. Rather we should try and sign De jong,De ligt and a Suarez replacement. Visca Barca

Neymar is a great player with great future he is one of the best in the world, he left Barcelona which hurt us and the club has made improvement with coutinho, dembele, Malcom. to my opinion, I wish neymar could come back but it is going to be hard because neymar has once sued the club for contract dispute, should Barca still want to bring him back, I don't want him at barca, he should shine at PSG, we have Messi who is doing well at the age of 31, and we searching for suarez replacement but neymar is not an ideal replacement he is not goal machine and strong player, so I think Barca should not consider bringing neymar back...

Well TBT I do wanna see MSN back in Barca as they were so dominant and brilliant at Barca they had great understanding and scored great goals.......But on the other side I really think that he should not leave PSG as they tried their best to sign him and he is really doing well with Them and share a good relationship with Mbappe too...... I have no doubts in Ney cause he is already a well established superstar just he need some accolades at PSG and if this happens he would stay ......Or else if he is unable to win then fingers crossed 😋😋

Looks like the once barca very loved prince misses the love he got while at barca he made a terrible mistake but nobody is above mistakes and I am quite sure he has learned from that by now just hope barca fans can forgive him though I am a Madridsta I will admit the Neymar barca love story was very thrilling and satisfying for all football fans
