Neymar has sparked rumours of a possible reunion with his former Barcelona teammates Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi at Inter Miami.

While catching up over a video game, the Brazilian ace expressed his feelings playing alongside digital representations of the fantastic 'MSN' trio, hinting at a potential future collaboration. During their Barcelona heyday between 2014 and 2017, Messi, Suarez and Neymar – the formidable 'MSN' – amassed an impressive total of 364 goals and 173 assists, topping their achievements by clinching a treble during the 2014-15 season.

After splitting up when Neymar made a move to Paris Saint-Germain, he briefly reunited with Messi in 2021 when the Argentine star moved to France. Both have since left Paris; Neymar for Al-Hilal and Messi for MLS's Inter Miami in 2023.

However, during a promotional event for Konami's E-Football, where the trio played as their Barcelona avatars, Neymar reminisced about their great chemistry, at one point saying: "I wish I was there too."

While the 32-year-old's comments could be interpreted in a few ways, it seems he’s been missing his former teammates as they bask in Miami's sun. Neymar has never been shy about expressing his desire to reunite with Messi on the pitch, reportedly telling ESPN Argentina: "I don't know. I have some doubts about that.

"I don't know if I'll play in Brazil again. I'd love to play in the US, actually. I'd love to play there at least for a season."

On top of that, the former PSG star expressed disappointment over an unfulfilled reunion with Messi in Paris, as he revealed to Globo's Esporte Espetacular: I was very happy for the year he had, but at the same time very sad, because he lived both sides of the coin. He went to heaven with the Argentina team, won everything in recent years, and with Paris he lived hell, we lived through hell, both he and I."

Neymar added: "We get upset, because we're not there for nothing, we're there to do our best, [to] be champions, try to make history. That's why we started playing together again, we came together there so we could make history. Unfortunately, we didn't make it."
