Team news
Danilo and Taison have joined Neymar in Brazil’s squad for World Cup 2018.
In February, coach Tite confirmed 16 of the 23 he would take to Russia, though last week he was dealt a blow as right-back Dani Alves was forced to rule himself out of contention with a serious knee injury.
The PSG man’s withdrawal left one first-team place up for grabs in his preferred starting XI, for which Manchester City’s Danilo will now battle with Fagner of Cortinhians.
As expected, Juventus forward Douglas Costa and Shakhtar midfielder Fred have also been included in the squad.
Fred's colleague Taison got the nod to join Costa, Neymar, Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino among the forwards.
Gremio’s Pedro Geromel has won the race for the final reserve slot in central defence, joining established internationals Marquinhos, Thiago Silva and Miranda.
Cassio of Corinthians claimed the final slot for goalkeepers as all 23 players selected were among the total of 64 Tite has selected since his appointment in June 2016.
The players are scheduled to arrive at the Granja Comary in Teresopolis on May 21, where they will work for a week before departing for London on May 27.
Players involved in the UEFA Champions League final will meet their team-mates in Europe after the showpiece event in Kiev, joining the squad on May 28.
The Selecao will then base themselves in London at Tottenham Hotspur’s newly built ‘Lodge’ at Hotspur Way ahead of their Brasil Global Tour friendly with Croatia at Anfield on June 3. After the match, they will return to London until June 8, when they depart for Vienna to take on Austria on June 10.
Brazil head to Russia on June 11 head of their World Cup opener against Switzerland on June 17.

No Talisca(Basiktas midfielder)...??? No bernard(Shakhtar's winger n midfielder)...??? No Luiz Gustavo(Olympique Marseille plays as Center back n CDM)..?? No neto(Valencia's Goalkeeper)..?? instead they took Cássio Ramos....
No Felipe Anderson(lazio CM n CDM)...????
No Fabinho(CM,CDM,CB,RB at Monaco).. ????
Quiet surprising...
They should have taken a bigger squad...
All these above players deserve a spot...
I m not happy with that squad its too much predictable n lacks variations....

luiz Gustavo from Marseille must be named in the list, the best player in his club, choosed in the team ligue 1, and will play europa league finale. otherwise, where's Alex sandro champion série A, eyed by big european clubs ( Blues, city, manu,....) and Neto from Valencia i think he's better then Cassio.

This coach is foolish, how can you leave out Talisca who had a brilliant season with Beşiktaş, Alex Sandro, Jemerson and even Fabinho ?
