Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar is going to travel to Qatar to commence an assessment of his injury, six weeks into his recovery.
The Brazilian was at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night to watch his side lose 3-1 to Manchester United and consequently crash out of the Champions League on away goals.
Accompanying Neymar to Qatar will be a member of PSG's medical team.
"Tonight, Neymar Jr will travel to Aspetar in Qatar for the next 3 days as scheduled in the initial recovery plan," their tweet read.
"He will undertake a complete assessment after six weeks of his injury.
"He will be accompanied by a medical team from PSG."
