Neymar is facing a tough time in Paris and all signs currently suggest that his wait to know his future will last until the very end of the transfer window on September 2.
The player's tension is doubled because of the environment he finds himself in at the Parc des Princes now, where he's under the spotlight since returning to training.
It's clear that the atmosphere surrounding him has changed, and he was even heckled by nearby workers at Paris Saint-Germain's training complex.
That became evident during their opening game of the season, when the club's ultras displayed their frustration with the Brazilian, despite him not being part of the squad or present at the Parc des Princes.
A safe exit
This tension only adds to his desire to leave Paris, but any agreement is still far from being reached. His party aren't shy in telling clubs interested that he is open to a move, whether it be to Real Madrid or to Barcelona.
Neymar's position is firm, but PSG aren't letting him leave easily or on the cheap and they're determined to sell him for a fee around the 222 million euros they spent on him in 2017.
