Nike have confirmed that their previous statement in relation to the 21-year-old remains applicable despite the striker including the brand in his Instagram bio

Mason Greenwood has not rejoined Nike as a sponsored athlete despite the suspended Manchester United striker adding the kit manufacturer to his Instagram account.

Nike have confirmed to Mirror Football that their previous statement in relation to the 21-year-old remains applicable now. It read: “Mason Greenwood is no longer a Nike athlete.”
