Youssoufa Moukoko's a millionaire thanks to Nike
Borussia Dortmund's 14-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko is now a millionaire.
That's after Nike agreed a new commercial deal with the teenager.
As confirmed in the German press, Moukoko has signed a one-million-dollar sponsorship deal with Nike.
While the youngster received a million euros up-front, Moukoko also has opportunities to earn bonuses totalling 10 million euros depending on how his career develops.
The bonuses only come into effect when Moukoko turns pro.
Moukoko is unable to play for Borussia Dortmund's first team until he turns 16 in November 2020.
Moukoko's deal with Nike covers the next ten years of the footballer's career.
Who is Youssoufa Moukoko?
Borussia Dortmund have an exception young talent on their hands: Cameroon-born striker Youssoufa Moukoko.
Moukoko has bene playing in BVB's youth teams for a while, and he's been scoring goals at a significant rate.
This season, in 21 games for the under 17s, Moukoko has scored a staggering 36 goals.
Moukoko's figures for the BVB U17 team in total stand at 76 goals in 49 games.
Moukoko made a name for himself at Dortmund when he was just 12 when he scored a hat-trick in the U17 Revierderby against Schalke.
Youssoufa Moukoko has also represented Germany at under-16 level. He's scored three times in four games for his national team.
