Fans have labelled Norwich as the 'worst team in the Premier League' after their 7-0 loss to Chelsea on Saturday morning.

The Blues cruised to an easy victory at Stamford Bridge with goals from Mason Mount, Ben Chilwell, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James.

The result puts Chelsea top the division by a point, while the Canaries are yet to win a match this season. As a result, fans have taken to Twitter to call for Norwich to be 'relegated now'.

Fans took to Twitter to share their disappointment with not only the result, but Norwich's performance.

One fan wrote: Norwich are absolutely pathetic, relegate them now and send someone up from the Championship who can be slightly competitive, 5 year ban from the league should be issued. Shambles of a team and club.

Another added: I mean Chelsea look good but Norwich have got to be the worst Premier League team of all time already. Just relegate them now man what a pointless club.

One supporter's Tweet read: 'Relegate Norwich immediately and never allow to get promoted again.', while another added: 'Norwich is a disgrace to the Premier League. One of the worst teams ever.'

Before one said: 'Norwich are the worst team in the history of the Premier League, they are absolutely woeful.'

While one fan shared the following: Norwich should be banned from the Premier League. Absolute embarrassment, even worse than they were a couple of years ago'.

Speaking after the game, Mount said: 'Before the game I put pressure on myself to get on the scoresheet, then three came around in the same game. It's obviously a massive moment for me. I'll remember this one for a long time.

'I was always getting in positions to score, but I just wasn't putting it in the back of the net. I thought the last one might be offside. It was my luck today, but it's also about the team. We spoke before about being at it from the beginning, we did that today.

'Players came in in the absence of other players. We were on it the entire game but we never dropped our standards and kept going.

'I always want to play every game. Sometimes you've got to take a backwards step, but in the last couple of games I've felt at it and ready to play. It's a big moment for me to score three at home at Stamford Bridge.'
