Lee Kang-in (24) has proved to be a handy squad player at Paris Saint-Germain, however, he plays a peripheral role in the big encounters. He played no part at all in the latter stages of the club’s triumphant UEFA Champions League campaign. His final minutes in that competition came off the bench against Liverpool. It is why, late in the window, he is wanting to at least consider his options.
However, PSG are firm in their stance that the South Korea international is not for sale. It is why they have turned down an offer from Nottingham Forest, according to a report from L’Équipe. The offer from the Premier League side is worth €30m plus potentially another €30m in bonuses. It is a considerable sum for a player bought for €22m two years ago.
PSG are determined to keep Lee and have not entertained the offer. Nottingham Forest are open to improving their bid, if PSG are willing to listen to it. There is also interest from Fulham, AC Milan, and Napoli.
