Adrien Truffert joins Bournemouth as new left back to replace Milos Kerkez.

Deal details for the left-back: €13.5m fixed fee, €3.5m add-ons, 10% sell-on clause to Rennes.

Truffert came through the ranks at Stade Rennais before going on to make 191 appearances for the club. In that time, he netted nine goals and registered 23 assists, whilst he also played a part in UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Europa Conference League campaigns with his formative club.

Having made his France debut in September 2022 (to date still his only cap with Les Bleus), the left-back has been attracting interest for several transfer windows. Bournemouth, who look set to lose Milos Kerkez amid intense interest from Liverpool, made their long-standing interest concrete this summer and have now wrapped up a deal.

Truffert has signed a five-year deal with the Premier League club, which runs until 2030. Whilst the fee has not been revealed, L’Équipe understands that the deal is worth €17m, including bonuses.
