Barcelona have officially announced that they have extended the contract of the team's midfielder, Frenkie de Jong, until 2029.
De Jong joined Barcelona in 2019 from Ajax for a transfer fee of €86 million and has made 267 appearances for the club so far, scoring 19 goals and assisting 24 times, helping the team to win two La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey titles and two Spanish Super Cups.
