OFFICIAL: Beşiktaş have signed Cher Ndour from PSG on a season-long loan

OFFICIAL: Midfielder Cher Ndour joins Turkish club Beşiktaş JK on a loan deal with no option to buy.

Born in Brescia in Italy in 2004, Cher Ndour first joined the training centers of Brescia (2009) then Atalanta Bergamo (2013) before flying to Portugal in 2020 to sign his first professional contract with Benfica Lisbon.

The Italian-Senegalese midfielder then played with the reserve of the Lisbon club, in Liga Portugal 2, becoming at 16 years and 279 days the youngest player to play a match with Benfica B. At the same time, he participated in the victory of the Portuguese team's U19s in the UEFA Youth League in 2022, notably scoring a goal in the final.

On March 18, 2023, Cher Ndour made his first team debut in a match against Vitoria Guimarães, allowing him to take part in Benfica Lisbon's championship victory. Able to rely on his right foot as well as his left foot, the powerful midfielder (1m90) is also very technically skilled.

In July 2023, Cher Ndour won Euro U19 2023 in Malta with the Italian selection, scoring a penalty goal in four matches played, and joined Paris Saint-Germain as part of a transfer. He played his first minutes in the red & blue tunic during a victory against Olympique Lyonnais (4-1) on September 3, 2023. At only 19 years old, Ndour scored his first goal with PSG against US Revel (9-0) during the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France in January 2024.

Loaned to SC Braga during the 2024 winter transfer window, the Italian Espoirs international played 11 matches in all competitions, including 2 in the Europa League, for one achievement. Braga will finish the year in 4th place in the Portuguese championship.
