Fulham have sacked Claudio Ranieri and are looking for their third manager of the season, with the struggling London club 19th in the Premier League.
Fulham have sacked manager Claudio Ranieri after just 16 games in charge.
Ranieri leaves Craven Cottage after Wednesday's 2-0 defeat at Southampton left the club 19th in the Premier League and ten points from safety.
First-team coach and former midfielder Scott Parker has been confirmed as caretaker manager.
"Claudio’s tenure at Fulham didn’t produce the outcome we anticipated and needed when I appointed him as manager in November, but be assured he is not solely to blame for the position we are in today,” said Fulham owner Shahid khan in a statement on the club’s website.
“Claudio walked into a difficult situation, inheriting a side that gained only one point in its prior eight matches, and he provided an immediate boost by leading our Club to nine points in his first eight matches as manager.
"Though we were unable to maintain that pace thereafter, I am grateful for his effort. Claudio leaves Fulham as our friend and he will undoubtedly experience success again soon.”

Fulham should appoint kepa as their next manager, he's both goalkeeper and manager. And they'll concede lesser goals.

I think fullham problem is that of Defense. They could have gone for top quality defenders during the January transfer window but they failed. They have conceived practically in every game the played this season, failing to conserve wins even when they at leading position. The Boss got the finance to revamp his defense. Secondly I don't think sacking Raneri is the best option cuz he could been the best Manager to qualify them back to EPL should in case they drop to championship.

The reformed Fulham never ever made an effort throughout the season to stand and fight.Ranieri's sole task was to save Fulham from the relegation positions and bring them to safety but unfortunately he couldn't become the saviour for them. After two managerial changes in a single season, its quite clear that their heavy investment in the transfer market is a fiasco now.

Claudio ranieri cannot replicate his Leicester years wit any other club in Europe bcos while at Leicester,he hd zero aspirations, didn't have pressure from management to achieve,he ws in it just to enjoy d premiership, had average selfless players he cld control n gradually they began to dream n the rest is history.Based on ranieris landmark at Leicester, today's managers hire ranieri to conjure d Leicester template n look to him to perform the Leicester miracle.it will not happen.no expectation, pressure or mandate must be put on ranieri.he must b allowed to enjoy his football and then anything cn happen from there.
