On August 12th, Mainz 05 officially announced that Como defender S.Posch has completed a permanent transfer to the club. According to previous reports from Sky Germany, the transfer fee is 4 million Euros.

S.Posch, who joined Mainz 05 on loan from Serie A Como for the second half of last season, will continue to play for the club in the future. The 29-year-old Austrian international center-back has now completed a permanent transfer. During the first half of his loan spell, S.Posch primarily played as a central defender, but is also capable of playing on the flanks. Both clubs have agreed not to disclose the terms related to the transfer fee.
