Borussia Dortmund have agreed with league rivals SV Werder Bremen on an immediate change of central defender Ömer Toprak.
The 30-year-old changes until the end of the season 2019/2020 initially on loan to the Weser.
Both clubs also agreed to a purchase obligation for SV Werder, which will take effect under realistic circumstances.
"We would like to thank Ömer Toprak for his dedication and professionalism and wish him all the best for his future in Bremen," says BVB sporting director Michael Zorc.

He has a good preaeason so this is a bit dissapoiting for me but hopefully he shines. We must really trust Balerdi to be a solid backup then if we've sold Diallo and Toprak
