Emile Smith Rowe has signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal
The attacking midfielder has been with Arsenal since the age of nine and progressed through the ranks at our Hale End academy, featuring for all our youth sides during his development with the club.
His development and hard work with our academy colleagues in recent years culminated with his big impact in the first team last season, making 33 appearances across all competitions.
To coincide with his new long-term contract, Gunners also reveal that Emile will wear our No 10 shirt for the 2021/22 season.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said: "As we all saw last season, Emile is an intelligent player with excellent ability.
"His sharpness on the turn and exceptional vision have already made him a key player for us. His attitude and willingness to learn have also been very impressive.
"I know the fans will join us in being delighted that Emile has committed his future to the club. We're now looking forward to helping him develop further and seeing him become even more important to the strong young team we're building."

I see a lot of you laughing at Arsenal not being in UCL but every big team in England been there some of them even got relegated which has never happened to Arsenal but haters will always be haters..just remember Arsenal did not stop any of your teams from being INVINCIBLE...your teams just not capable so stop hating..whenever Arsenal sign a players you'll have something but to say remember haters will never prevail

I am a die hard Manchester United fan and boy I do respect Arsenal. Arsenal under Wenger was good too and they have some bad times. But it was also the same team who won Invincibles which I believe none have done it since then. City were the closest team to have had done the same as what Arsene did to Arsenal but that was just "almost" Arsenal will rise again. in PL we never know. Who knew lowly Leicester would win right? Who knew Man Utd which was all time the most successful club in PL would be 2nd place always now? Who knew Man City which was almost not know to anyone before are champions now? Anything can happen in PL. Good luck to Arsenal and of course to my team Man Utd in the 21/22 league.
