Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta confirmed in a press conference that Bukayo Saka will be sidelined for several weeks due to injury.
Arteta spoke about Saka’s injury, saying,“It’s not looking good. He’s going to be out for MANY weeks”.
“It’s a huge blow, but it’s going to be a big exercise for us to overcome another challenge”.
Saka was injured in the 24th minute of Arsenal’s 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace, feeling discomfort after making a pass and subsequently being substituted.
According to talkSPORT, Saka has suffered a hamstring injury and will be out until February, missing at least 10 matches for Arsenal.
When asked about potential replacements for Saka, Arteta responded, “I’m considering a few ideas. We’ll do something new, just like we did when Ødegaard was out. Martinelli, Nwaneri, and Trossard have all played in that position… Havertz can also step in. We’ll have internal discussions to figure out the best solution.”
As one of the club’s key players, Saka has made 24 appearances this season, scoring 9 goals and providing 13 assists. His market value is currently estimated at €150 million.
In addition, Arteta also provided an update on Sterling’s injury, saying, “He will rest for several weeks, and he needs further checks tomorrow. It’s a knee issue.”

The only reason Man City hasn’t lost today is because they have no game to play
