OFFICIAL: Juventus activate buyout clause for Kalulu, sign him until 2029

On June 5, Juventus officially announced that they have triggered the buyout clause for Pierre Kalulu, who joined the club on loan from AC Milan last summer. The two parties have now signed a contract running until June 30, 2029.

This is Pierre Kalulu’s first birthday as a Bianconero! The French defender turns 25 today — June 5, 2025 — and we say “first” because after a full season on loan, Juventus have now exercised the option to buy and signed him permanently. He is now officially part of Juventus until June 30, 2029.

Kalulu joined Juventus from Milan last summer and quickly became a regular starter. In his first season with the team, he made 39 appearances, scoring his first goal for the club in an away match against Atalanta.

Currently, Kalulu is with the French national team and will return to Turin afterward to continue preparing for the Club World Cup in the United States.
