OFFICIAL: Manchester United winger Amad Diallo signs new deal until summer 2030

Amad Diallo has signed a new five-year contract at Manchester United that will tie him to Old Trafford until June 2030.

The 22-year-old Ivory Coast winger, who has emerged as a key player under Ruben Amorim, would have been a free agent in the summer.

Diallo, who has made 50 appearances and scored nine goals since joining the club from Atalanta in 2021, said: ‘I am really proud to have signed this new contract.

'I have had some incredible moments with this club already but there is so much more to come. I have huge ambitions in the game and I want to achieve history at Manchester United.

‘I have learnt so much since arriving here four years ago; I am very grateful to the coaches and staff who have helped me to develop, and to the fans for driving me forward every day.

‘It has been a difficult season for everyone, but I fully believe that we are on the right path and the future is going to be really special. I am ready to give everything to help the team and make our supporters proud again.’

Amad Diallo has signed a new deal at Manchester United that will keep him at the club until summer 2030.

Sky Sports News reported in September that United were eager to tie the 22-year-old down to fresh terms, rather than triggering the 12-month option included in his previous deal.

Amad has emerged as a star performer for United, under both Erik ten Hag and Ruben Amorim following an initially slow start to his Old Trafford career after joining from Atalanta in 2020.

Amad scored at both the Etihad Stadium and Anfield to underline his pedigree as United collected four points from visits to Manchester City and Liverpool in recent weeks - and has now put pen to paper on a five-and-a-half-year deal to commit his future to the club.
