Lionel Messi, the FC Barcelona player, takes the LaLiga Player of the Month award for February after shining in a month when his team won all of their LaLiga matches.
Messi kicked off February with a key contribution in the 2-1 victory over Levante UD, twice assisting Ansu Fati to score their team's two goals. He repeated the feat a week later by helping the Catalan club dispatch Real Betis 3-2 in a tough game, adding another three assists to his name.
To round off the month of February, Messi was on fire in the 5-1 rout of SD Eibar, netting four goals to extend his lead as the top scorer this season.
The Argentinian earns this distinction for the second time this term after being named the best player in November, and he will be presented with the award ahead of his team's clash against CD Leganes on 22 March.

@Eyawip it seems you are confused, frustrated and depressed already, what is your definition of performance? You are too fearful to watch Messi play and as such you only jump into conclusions. In month of April Barcelona won all their laliga games, Messi gave 2 assist to Ansu Fati for the 2 goals of Barcelona and the next match Messi repeated it in a more superior version provided hatrid assist and another match Messi score 4 goals! Because you don't watch Messi play for fear of pain he has been causing you you only listen to what your friends who know nothing tell you. If Messi doesn't deserve it please can you tell who and what the person did? Was El classico played in February? May be cr7 should have won it?
