Official: Pochettino signs a new five-year contract with Tottenham until 2023
Tottenham have confirmed Mauricio Pochettino has signed a new deal to stay on as manager until 2023. They officially announced:
"We are delighted to announce that Mauricio Pochettino has signed a new five-year contract with the Club, which runs until 2023.
"First Team Coaching staff Jesús Pérez, Miguel D’Agostino & Toni Jimenez have also agreed new contracts. "
The deal is understood to be worth in the region of £8.5million a year - making him one of the top earning bosses in the top flight.
Sportsmail revealed on May 15 that Pochettino would hold talks over an extension as part of discussions with chairman Daniel Levy and that deal has now been agreed.
The news comes as a huge boost to Spurs ahead of next season.
Pochettino will now focus on improving his squad as he looks to mount a sustained title tilt next season.

This is just one of the best news I hope to have been expecting to read on for a long while now.. This is the kind and part of the clubs management and administrative's news worthy of real football's professional managers to look out for.. And never sacked coach,signing of coaches every two seasons or one..I truly love white-heart Lane's hierarchy in their recruitment policies so much because of their level of diligency in recruiting/signing coaches and players as well..not trying to show flaw buoyancy.. considering the quality of the players they have been able raise in the last decades {Gareth Bale,Luca Modric,,M.dembele,K.Walker, Harry Kane C.Erikson, etc etc;-You will definitely accept the facts that Danny Levy and Co.;- really understands the rudiments of the beautiful game of football..bringing youths from low background,and turning them into football gold;-like Gareth Bale @£89- world football record broken for a teenaged age,,etc etc...Pochetino deserves to be there as very and humane coach..Good luck spurs and their fans towards next seasons and beyond,.Good luck to D.Levy and his management...
