On March 5, the Moroccan national team, currently ranked 9th in the world, officially announced that head coach Regragui had stepped down and that Mohamed Ouahbi, the former head coach of the Moroccan U20 national youth team, would take over.
The 50-year-old Regragui took over the Moroccan national team in August 2022. To date, he has led the team in 49 matches with a record of 36 wins, 8 draws and 5 losses. These include a record-breaking run to the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup and a run to the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Mohamed Ouahbi, 49, previously coached the Anderlecht youth team, Anderlecht B team, Morocco U20 and Morocco U23 national youth team. This is his first time coaching a senior team in his coaching career.

It's sad that he had to sacrifice the AFCON to save his country from being called racist due to the unprofessional behavior of Senegal. Walking off the field like cry babies.

The reason why Senegal left the field wasn't just the penalty award...rather everything that was happening on and out of that field...the atmosphere wasn't sporting tolerable!!

This is so idiotic...We all know that Senegal were the most dominant! And what was happening outside the field was the reason enough for any team to leave the pitch.

Always considered him a great coach. He knocked out Spain and Portugal in the last WC. Should have stayed on until the 26WC. Portugal can finally beat Morocco.

how did he sacrifice it? instead, you should thank Sadio Mane, who saved their embarrassment as the organisers and African Football by convincing his stubbon teammates to come back and play!
