According to official statement, Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches joins Greek club Panathinaikos FC on loan.
Trained at Benfica Lisbon, Renato Sanches played his first match with the Lisbon club's first team in October 2015. He quickly became a starter and participated in the conquest of the league and Coupe de la Ligue double in the 2015-2016 season.
Transferred to Bayern Munich the following summer, the Portuguese international played 53 games, scored 2 goals, delivered 3 assists and won nine titles in the Bavarian shirt. He also played in the Premier League during the 2017-2018 season on loan at Swansea City.
Renato Sanches finally discovered Ligue 1 by joining Lille OSC in August 2019. In three seasons, the midfielder has accumulated 90 matches (6 goals, 10 assists), winning the 2021 France championship and the 2021 Trophée des Champions.
Transferred to Paris Saint-Germain in the 2022 summer transfer window, the number 18 played 27 matches for 2 goals during the 2022-2023 season. Loaned to AS Roma the following season, Renato Sanches played 12 games for 1 goal scored.
Loaned again last season to his training club Benfica, Renato Sanches has participated in 21 games for 1 goal scored.
