Schalke 04 have officially sacked their manager Domenico Tedesco following Champions League humiliation against Manchester City.
The Bundesliga club are currently 14th in the league table and lost 7-0 to Manchester City, 10-2 on aggregate, in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Schalke confirm they have sacked Domenico Tedesco and replaced him with former manager Huub Stevens.

Tedesco's side never were a threat this season. He became a wonder of Bundesliga after his previous successes at Schalke but this season Schalke have been on a continuous downward spiral. The club waited patiently for him to redeem himself throughout this season but many players of his team were frustrated and so were the fans because Schalke fans really get emotional when their club lose so the signs were out there that City were going to hammer Schalke during the second leg and Schalke let their opponents humiliate them by such a margin.Tedesco is a fine manager and was perfect for Schalke but when it's not working then nobody's position is safe no matter what.
