Brazilian federation confirming Tite will remain with national team through the end of Qatar 2022
Brazil coach Tite has extended his contract with the national team until the end of the 2022 World Cup, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) confirmed on Wednesday.
Tite enjoyed a brilliant start with the Selecao after taking over from Dunga, leading the nation to Russia 2018 qualification at the head of the CONMEBOL competition.
His hopes of taking home Brazil's sixth title, however, were dashed by Belgium, who downed Neymar and Co. in a 2-1 quarter final victory.
But Tite remains a popular figure in his native country, and has seen the CBF back him for another four years.
"Tite and Edu Gaspar have shown their alignment to the values we hold dear at the CBF, such as talent, competence and dedication", CBF CEO Rogerio Caboclo signalled on Wednesday as the coach and national team coordinator were confirmed in their posts.
"The CBF is investing in a long-term project as it guarantees the coaching team six years and a half at the head of the national team.
"We believe that careful planning and intelligent execution will lead Brazilian football to the results we expect."
Tite affirmed that he was looking forward to the challenge of delivering silverware with the Selecao, starting with 2019's Copa America on home soil.
"I believe the CBF has given us the conditions to build an atmosphere of unity and extreme professionalism, and that's what we'll keep doing," the coach said.
"It's a great challenge, and we're happy to face it, already focusing the next matches and competitions."
Brazil's last major trophy came in 2013, when the hosts lifted the Confederations Cup.
Japan and South Korea 2002 marked the Selecao's last World Cup title, while 11 years have passed since the team lifted the Copa America.

that's the truth tite deserve second time in charge because he has taken brasil national team to another level since he took over the job therefore he has the winning mentality, monitoring the situation of the players at their clubs and then give the players chance base on merits so good luck tite and Co. up brasil for life

He was doing real good up until the World Cup where he should have called up or fielded the on form players instead of still having faith in those who were at their best during the qualifiers but declined thereafter.

As he is going to lead Brazil in next world cup I want him to do few changes. 1 Give firmino proper chance what he truly deserve . 2 Try to find few good defenders and make them prepare for next wc as silva and Miranda r getting older 3 Not always use one player what u did with jesus was unfair . he was out of form but still u used him in every game though u have good subs . 4 Bring some new faces on team such as Malcom , vincius , paqueta and throw farnadinho , paulinho , danilo out of team . if these things u can do I think Brazil have high chance to complete mission hexa on 2022 and that's what I want

Brazil was the best team at the world cup. One fluke goal can change a result, but not the fact that they still played the better game. They did everything better, the fluke goal was the only problem, and bad luck can happen anytime, but not all the time. If Brazil and Belgium played ten times, Brazil would have won nine or maybe eight. Belgium were lucky. They used up all their luck in that match.
