OFFICIAL: Tottenham Hotspur's Xavi Simons out with torn ACL, will be absent for the World Cup

On April 27th, Tottenham Hotspur officially released an injury announcement stating that Xavi Simons has a torn anterior cruciate ligament(ACL) in his right knee and will undergo surgery in the coming weeks.

We can confirm that Xavi Simons has ruptured the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) in his right knee.

The 23-year-old suffered the injury during the second half of our Premier League fixture at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

Xavi will undergo surgery in the coming weeks and, following that, will then begin his rehabilitation with our medical team.

This season, 23-year-old Xavi Simons appeared for Tottenham 41 times, 28 of them were in the Starting 11, contrbuting 5 goals and 6 assists(no.1 in the team). 

Currently, his market price is 50 million euros, and his contract with Tottenham is until June 30th, 2030.
