Neymar is set to be investigated by UEFA following his comments after Paris Saint-Germain's elimination from the Champions League.
The PSG star took to Instagram to hit back at the decision against his team following a handball VAR review during their Champions League last-16 clash.
"That is a disgrace," he wrote on his Instagram Stories alongside a screenshot of the alleged handball.
"And UEFA still pick four guys who know nothing about football to review the VAR decision in slow motion... that handball simply doesn't exist!
"How do you handball behind your back? Ahh.. go f*ck yourselves."
Following the clash, UEFA announced they would be looking into the 27-year-old's post-match comments and have opened an investigation into the way he conducted himself online.
A UEFA statement read: "In accordance with the Article 31 (3) (a) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations, UEFA has today announced that it has appointed an Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector to conduct an investigation regarding the comments made on social media by the Paris Saint-Germain player Neymar Junior, following the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League match between Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United FC, played on 6 March 2019 in France."
Neymar, meanwhile, hasn't featured for PSG since he went off injured in the side's 2-0 victory over Strasbourg on January 23.
He is currently in Paris to continuing his recovery from injury following an "excellent" medical evaluation in Qatar.

his injury is enough punishment. please UEFA, don't add salt to his wound. let him go. the earlier UEFA and FIFA begin to take into account that someone can react out of anger or extreme excitement the better, no need punishing every single rant

FIFA should be providing explanations why the penalty was give and why the goal that was scored by Ajax was allowed after the ball has gone out of play. they should explain,if VAR can be used in some instances??

I get it that he's pissed but just accept it. you have to accept it to heal the wound. Manchester United is legally and through due to a legitimately given penalty and the VAR only deals in justice

That's a welcome development. He needs to be mature on and off the pitch, and other players need to learn that maturity is a responsibility. Why is he is always out of knock outs season in season out of Champions League. After letting his team down, and his club down he is now ranting uselessly everywhere with shallow thinking. He needs to grow up. Has he taken time to watch the replay again and again? That defender deliberately jumped into space trying to block the ball. He looked at the player and the ball as he was jumping stretching out his hand and looking away so that it will be said he was not looking. The defender motive was clear, he did it professionally thinking he can go away with it. Alas, he was caught! Neymar should grow up.

Neymer is not helping his club with his play but most of the time remained sidelined due to his injuries. So he decided to help the club by influencing people though Instagram by declaring that it was not a hand ball. People are not so fool and UEFA has taken appropriate measure to investigate the authenticity of Neymer's remark. If this remark does not come true, he may face disciplinary actions.

He's a human and all we know that but UEFA can't make a mistake and lose any of their sponsorships. They're sponsored by companies built with reputation who have strict policies about language usage. They want to make sure that it never happens again and Neymar is a good start. It's not something that of a big deal to us but they can't have stuff like this around the pitch both for business and morality like there are kids who watch football too.

So? footballplayers are human beings too. You can say things you don't mean when your angry. We don't know the pain this footballers feels when they loose important match like this. People just wants to lure football player's money.

he's a role model people are looking up to him for motivations. as a mentor to many youngsters you are expected to coordinate yourself in an orderly manner. no one is above the law if UEFA find his comments offensive then he should face the punishment. but they on their own hand need to come up with a video documentary that will enlight people more on this rules etc.
