The 70th Ballon d'Or ceremony took place at the London Palladium on October 26, where 20-year-old Barcelona star Vicky López was named the winner of the 2026 Women's Kopa Trophy, claiming the award for the second consecutive year.
Last season, López scored nine goals in 31 appearances, helping Barcelona Women win the UEFA Women's Champions League, Liga F, Copa de la Reina and Spanish Super Cup.
In 2025, López became the inaugural winner of the Women's Kopa Trophy. She has now successfully defended her title, winning both of the award's first two editions.
