Manchester United are preparing for the final game of Tour 2024, presented by Snapdragon, as we face Liverpool in South Carolina this weekend.

Two Reds have already been ruled out of our first-ever visit to the Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, with Rasmus Hojlund and Leny Yoro missing through injury after being substituted early during our friendly against Arsenal.

Yoro, who signed for the club last month, is set to be absent for around three months with a foot injury.

Meanwhile Hojlund was withdrawn shortly after scoring the opener versus the Gunners, and the Dane faces around six weeks on the sidelines due to a hamstring problem.

There were also a couple of injury questions following Wednesday’s 3-2 victory over Real Betis in San Diego.

Goalscorer Marcus Rashford left the field limping after 62 minutes of the match at the Snapdragon Stadium, while Antony was swapped out during the closing stages.

Erik ten Hag said it was too early to say whether the pair would be available for the game over on the East Coast.

“We have to wait,” said the boss. “Of course, we don’t go into risk - to the last game of the tour, going into the season next week already, into an important game against Manchester City.

“We are still within the 24 hours after a game. The final assessment we have to make and we will see if they are ready for the final game on Saturday against Liverpool.”

The Merseysiders are three games into their pre-season schedule and beat Arsenal 2-1 in Philadelphia on Wednesday, with Mohamed Salah and Fabio Carvalho scoring the goals for Arne Slot’s men at Lincoln Financial Field.

Ryan Gravenberch and Ibrahima Konate could be involved after joining the group earlier this week, following their Euros exploits, while Diogo Jota has already returned to action, playing against the Gunners.
