Newcastle United has officially announced a multi-year partnership agreement with French champagne brand Taittinger, which will become the club's official champagne partner.
Newcastle United stated in its official announcement: "Newcastle United announces a new multi-year partnership with Taittinger, one of the world's most renowned champagne brands. Newcastle United becomes Taittinger's latest club partner. For decades, the champagne brand has maintained close ties with major sporting events and cultural activities, including the FIFA World Cup."
Under the agreement, Taittinger products will be supplied in St. James' Park's premium hospitality areas, including VIP suites, executive boxes, and at certain club events.
On match days and during special events throughout the season, guests can enjoy Taittinger's Brut Réserve and Prestige Rosé champagnes, as well as the English sparkling wine Domaine Evremond Classic Cuvée.
The announcement of this partnership follows Newcastle United's £10 million investment this summer in a major upgrade of St. James' Park's premium hospitality facilities, aimed at improving service levels and enhancing the guest experience.
Newcastle United's Chief Revenue Officer, Kevin O'Connor, stated: "The Taittinger family has a long and proud history of collaboration with some of the world's most prestigious sporting events. We are delighted that they have chosen to embark on this new chapter of football partnership with Newcastle United."
"Their decision to partner with us reflects the club's ambition and our commitment to continuously raising standards. We look forward to working together to set a new benchmark for premium matchday hospitality at St. James' Park and create extraordinary experiences for our fans."
Mills Easby, Director of Taittinger UK, stated: "The Taittinger family is very pleased to establish a partnership with Newcastle United. This club is not only one of the most iconic teams in English football but also an important symbol of the North East of England."
"We are thrilled to be involved in activities at St. James' Park at this exciting time and look forward to creating truly unforgettable moments together."
Recently, Newcastle United has continued to expand its commercial partnerships. Last week, the club announced Corpay as a new commercial partner. In September this year, Newcastle United also reached a multi-year commercial partnership agreement with Coca-Cola.
Newcastle United had previously signed several sponsorship agreements with KNOX, which first became the club's training ground and training kit sleeve sponsor, and then, through a multi-year agreement, became the front-of-shirt sponsor for the Newcastle United first team.
